The Elk Rapids Harbor Commission reviews all Village projects that may affect the streams, lakes, rivers and shoreline within the Village and all other waters as may be in the jurisdiction of the Village, as they pertain to the Harbor facilities. The Harbor Commission consists of seven members with no more than one non-Village resident.

An annual, summer tradition, Evenings on River Street are a Wednesday-night favorite in beautiful downtown Elk Rapids. The event features lots of food from local restaurants, kid’s activities, and live music. Each week features different music from some of Michigan’s most talented artists.
Activities start at 6 p.m. and go until 9 p.m.
